Callings

The Three Callings — Documenters, Tinkerers, Architects — are the disciplines the practice asks of its keepers. The Codex §VII names them; these pages are the living account of what each calling means and how to enter it.

A calling is not a credential, and it is not an identity to defend. Most practitioners stand in one for a season and drift between them over a lifetime. No calling is the whole practice, and the practice needs all three.
